“I recently started Pilates at Inhabit and I'm a convert. This is a warm, welcoming studio (I never once felt nervous about starting something new) with the most wonderful team of teachers.

After just 3 weeks of classes I have less back pain and I'm feeling stronger. I look forward to coming every week for a very long time.”

Group Equipment Classes Toronto Pilates

Group Equipment Classes

Our equipment classes are unique and are the corner stone of what we stand for – independence with your health and personalized programming.

Rather than follow a teacher who may or may not be working at your level that day, our equipment classes have you working through a program designed for you during your initial private lessons. Each hour you “run” your program as a teacher busily corrects, encourages and guides you to better results. Like 3 privates in one room, you can expect to work at the pace that works for you and on movements that truly address what you need. Because of this individual attention we see excellent results. Our classes allow an athlete to workout next to a new mom, a grandparent and a teen athlete. Everyone benefits and everyone gets strong.

Personalized programs respond to your body’s needs on any given day – whether you’re sore, tight, or feeling energized. Plus, independent exercise works your brain, making good movement a habit and part of your everyday life. We strongly believe a self-directed approach is the best way to get results.

We have the full range of Pilates equipment, not just Reformers, so you’ll work out on the chair, cadillac, barrel, and more. This means you’ll work from the complete system of the Pilates method. Our 3:1 student/teacher ratio ensures a safe, productive class that’s also affordable.

To join a group equipment class, you’ll need at least 4 private sessions with one of our teachers. Some people like to develop a program more slowly and take longer, some people are ready after 4 lessons. We’ll work with you at your pace to get you set up for success.

How do I join a group equipment class?

New To Studio:

  • Buy the Get Started Package and get to work with a teacher designing your program.

  • When the teacher gives you the green light, sign up for any group Equipment class on our schedule.

  • Come in, grab your program and get to work! (Don’t worry, we are here to answer questions, guide and correct you. Our eagle eyes will keep you safe and moving).

  • If none of the group equipment classes suit your schedule reach out and let us know, we track requests, and open up new classes whenever we get enough demand.

After taking Inhabit’s equipment classes for about two years, I feel stronger and more energized. The individualized program and personal attention from the studio’s extremely knowledgeable and helpful instructors have enabled me to become stronger without risk of injury, which has been a problem with other forms of exercise. My lower back pain is virtually gone, and I appear to have halted a disconcertingly rapid decline in bone density. The small equipment classes are worth the extra investment.
