Kirsten Boorman
Kirsten Boorman is a Master Pilates Instructor, movement enthusiast, health educator, and explorer and lover of Pilates. She is deeply committed to helping you feel better.
For over 20 years, Kirsten has been living her passion of helping others to live in better health. As a former gymnast, competitive sailor, and lover of extreme movement, Kirsten brings humour and authenticity, as well as a depth of knowledge to her contemporary approach to Pilates.
Kirsten’s teaching focuses on biomechanically efficient exercises that provide maximum results through precise alignment and controlled movements. She has achieved extraordinary results with a wide range of clients including elite athletes, and individuals recovering from injury, surgery and neurological disorders. Kirsten works closely with health practitioners in the community. Kirsten is a PMA-NCPT® Certified Pilates Teacher, having received her original certification from Vivian Nichols of Pilates Downtown in 1997.
Kirsten is a Kinstretch® Level 1 Instructor, holds an FRCms, has trained in Ashtanga Yoga, The Roll Method, Nutritious Movement, and other therapeutic movement modalities with master teachers from around the world. She holds an AOCA from the Ontario College of Art and Design.
